Ant Rist and Clive Case From Forest Town Church in St Albans recently returned from a 10 day visit to Cambodia. The church has built a relationship with Bunna Yin, a church planter who works under the covering of Nexus Church Phnom Penh. Over the last twenty years Bunna has planted more than 20 village churches in the rural provinces of Cambodia and FTC has been sending short term teams to support his work for the last 9 years.
This was the first visit since the Covid pandemic struck and it was a joyful reunion! Ant and Clive led a two day conference in Phnom Penh, for church leaders who travelled in from all over the country, and then travelled to a number of rural churches to teach and also to visit projects which the church (and Activate Network) have supported financially during the Covid crises. They spent time in fellowship and worship in peoples homes and also visited an informal English teaching school which Bunna has established on Khatrongh Island on the Mekong River where they spent time encouraging and counselling the local teacher.
We praise God for a blessed and productive trip!
