Our big autumn event, the Activate Conference, is behind us. It was a great time and we are grateful, satisfied and thankful! We have returned to our daily routines but trust that the inspiration of the conference will remain and that our churches will be changed as a result.
Our conference had a record attendance of 225 people from 13 different nations which was a wonderful response to all the effort that had been out in by our team. Our speakers were such blessing as they shared around the subject of the extremely multi-generational world within our churches today. The topics made us think about how to connect the different generations in our churches, how to become a bridge between the generations, what their needs are, how to understand each generation and how to create a space with God’s help, where everyone can find his/her way and be seen and welcomed. It was also very sobering to be confronted with the current temptations of modern society and to seek solutions for ourselves or for those who follow those, who are leaders. Our conference schedule made it possible to be intensively trained, but also to enjoy the interaction with the other participants and the moments of peace in God’s presence.
An incredible amount of work was done behind the scenes. We are so grateful to our amazing teams who made it all possible. It was so wonderful to see people putting their hearts, souls, talents and strengths into the Activate Conference: for God, for people, for churches, for generations.
