In September 2022, we were asked if we were looking for a location to rent, as there was one in the heart of the town centre of Simmern. For us, it was an answer to a prayer we had been waiting for a long time. The owner even agreed to let us rent the premises 1.5 months earlier, so that we could get the key in November 2022 and start to renovate the rooms. After 4 months of renovation, we opened our new premises on 18.03.23 with a big opening celebration. Supported by the worship band “LOVELAND”, we celebrated a brilliant evening of worship with many guests and friends, giving God the glory for this milestone in our history.
The renovation period has been a challenging, but also a great time for the church to grow together. Strengths and talents emerged and we experienced supernatural provision through the release of resources. God has suddenly put people on our side who have supported us financially and donated the things we need. We are very grateful for the stylish and well-equipped premises we have. With the new rooms we also want to honour God. Now it is up to us to fill them with life and God’s presence. Buildings without life are dead stones, now we need to build, equip and send out living stones.
